I need legal advice...on Malpractice... Is this a case?

I had a rhinoplasty and deviated septum surgery done. After my surgery I tried to see the doctor because something didnt feel right. He was always either out of town or in a surgery and after many meetings with the nurse practicionier who assured me that it was just allergies (which i have no history of) i finally decided to see a different doctor. It seems that my septum is still deviated that my nose is uneven asymtrecial and basically unattractive and that i have 2 very noticable scars by my nostrils... the other doctor i went to is good friends with my doctor who performed the surgery but assures me that he can fix my nose to my liking for 7500 dollars. I feel like i dont deserve to pay that much...and when asking him if legal actions were necessary he said no, although i wasnt sure if he was just covering up for "his friend". Does anyone have the slightest clue.

Don't ever ever ever talk to a doctor about malpractice friend of the doctor or not--its a big red flag for them. I would talk to a lawyer, it sounds like you may have a case, maybe?? I was sent home from the ER with a ruptured appendix--did all kinds of fallopian tube damage because of infection, scarring, etc. I was told I didn't have a case because there was no permanent damage (because I have another fallopian tube. good luck.

If it was necessary surgery you might be able to get him for malpractice but if it was elective you have an uphill battle
after legal fees it may be cheaper to pay the 7500

I would talk to a lawyer (for about $100 you get an hour of their time and they can tell you whether you have a case or not). I don't see why you would need to pay to fix something he should have done correctly in the first place, but that's just my opinion.
