Law of Attraction – Create a Vision Board to Bring More Money Into your Life

“O.K. I have asked Universe again and again for something I want. I have thought about it and envisioned it and it is no closer to showing up than the first day I asked.”

Does this sound familiar to you? This is one of the most frequent complaints I hear from people who have learned, read and studied about the Law of Attraction but are having problems making it work for them personally.

It is usually pretty easy when I delve a little deeper into their situation to figure out what the problem is.

For instance, say you declare that you want to create a lot of money. You can see it in your minds eye, you may even be able to “feel” how it feels to have it (very important, by the way), and you do this for about an average of 10-20 seconds a day.

And you have done it exactly right. That is all that is required for the Universe to kick into action and start working its magic to bring it to you. However, a week later you find that you are no better off than you were before – sometimes you find your situation may even be worse.

So what is the problem? The problem is not in how or what you asked for. The Universe is totally neutral. It does not care what it delivers or to whom it brings it.

The problem lies in what you think about after you have asked for the money. While those 10 to 20 seconds are very important every day, what are you thinking about the other 14 to 16 hours you are awake?

What are you thinking if a creditor calls, when you open your mail and see the bills, when your kids want something extravagant? Do you feel a knot in your stomach. Do you say things like, “there is no way I can pay this, or that bill is outrageous, or we absolutely cannot afford that?”

You see, in having these thoughts the rest of the day Universe will again kick in to do its job. But now it will reverse its original direction of that mornings objective and now focus on the messages it is currently being given.

So what is the answer? Quite simply, is to keep your focus more often on what you do want during the day as opposed to what you do not want. You see, whichever thought gets more of the attention – wins! It is the law!

So then you may ask, “Well how am I supposed to do that? Most of my day is dealing with trying to figure out how I am going to pay for everything. Its great to dream and envision but I also have to deal with my current reality which is currently not very abundant”.

This is where a Vision Board or Creation Board comes in. A Vision Board is a board or place where you put all of the things you are wanting Universe to provide to you. You simply go through magazines or the internet and find pictures of exactly what it is you are wanting. Clip them out and put them on your board.

If you can’t find a picture of what you are wanting, you can type up a saying, a reminder or an affirmation. Make it fancy, print it out and put it on your board. The important part is to have it someplace where you can remind yourself constantly that your current financial state is only temporary and the things and places on that board is where you are headed.

So now your next question might be “But what if I work someplace where I can’t display a board to look at all day long? or “What if I don’t want the rest of the world knowing what it is that I am creating — It is very personal to me.”

To that I say – be creative! Write it down in one of those little notepads you can easily store in your pocketbook and look at it frequently. If you are a man, insert little cards into your wallet that you will see every time you open it.

Actually, one of my personal favorites is putting the board on your computer. Especially if you work in an office or do not want a large board hanging in your home for all to see.

There are great programs available that will help you create your Vision Board right on your own computer or laptop that you can glance at anytime you want.

You can add pictures to them, even music. You can create slide shows.

In truth I have found these to be the most effective. I have found that the boards I have made on the computer with these programs, where I have also inserted my favorite inspiring song or have used my own voice, stay with me all day even when I am not directly in front of the computer looking at it.

I find myself humming the song and the video replaying in my mind automatically and I find myself giving much more attention to what I do want as opposed to what I do not want quite naturally. Which of coarse in turn, brings to me what I want so much faster.

Some of these new programs even have the ability to download a mini version onto your iPod, cell phone, PDA and digital photo frames. How cool is that?! The one I most often use has a pop up balloon that displays my affirmations at a chosen time interval so it pops up and reminds me even if I am not consciously thinking about it.

So get started today! Get excited and go find the pictures of the things that you are wanting in your life! Cut and paste to make your own physical board or go make that video. Feel inspired as you know you are taking the first action towards changing your life. You will find yourself getting so caught up in it that you will not want to stop.

Watch the video or look at your board as often as possible and feel good and inspired by it! Remember the more time you spend focusing on what you do want, the faster it will come to you!

How to Gain Confidence Through the Law of Attraction

There are two questions that we are frequently asked regarding the Law of Attraction. The primary questions are usually about money and how to obtain it, but the other question that is frequently asked is: “How do I find the confidence in myself to feel that I can apply the Law of Attraction adequately to attain all my desires?” This is a valid question and is one worth further consideration.

It is a good idea to start with how you feel about yourself. If you are concerned about others’ opinions and how people feel about you, you’ll want to change your perceptions of yourself. When you worry about what others will think of you, this only attracts to you more people and situations that bring you more concerns about yourself. How do you stop the cycle? How do you gain the confidence to make your own decisions without another’s opinions? How do you ‘not care’ when you actually do care what people think of you?

Lee and I have a mantra we go by: Don’t be who you think you are, be who you wish to be.

Now let’s examine this thought a step further: Don’t be who you think others think you are; be who you want to be, not what others tell you that you are.

It sounds easy and, believe it or not, it is. Think about it. Is it important to care what others think of you? If it is important, then why? Is it going to be the end of the world if someone doesn’t like you? Is it the ‘end all be all’ if someone looks at you the wrong way? It feels like it is the end if you let it affect you.

Think about the freedom in not worrying about what others think of you. How can you gain some of that freedom? By letting others have their perceptions of you and not buying into what they seemingly see. Who knows you better? Have these other people ever walked in your shoes? So why do they have some strange power over you to make you feel that you need to care what they think? You have the freedom to create who you want to be. No one can change that.

So who do you want to be? If you could create all the qualities for yourself, what would they be? Would you be happy as that person you just created? And assuming you become this person you created, does it still matter that you’ll likely have the same amount of detractors offering up more negative opinions?

Be who you wish to be; be that girl/guy who is the one that you would admire and who is happy with life. Start being that person now. You can take on the traits you desire now. See yourself as that adventuresome hang glider surrounded by friends who truly see and appreciate you for who you are; a wonderful human being.

Take a look in the mirror. Look yourself right in the eyes and tell yourself, without looking away, what you like about that person in the mirror. If there are qualities that you wish to possess, tell yourself how great it is to have those qualities. You may feel like you are ‘faking’ it at first but your subconscious doesn’t know the difference between real and fake so keep telling it until you feel the shift. You will become the person that you are wishing to be. Your former self will merge with this new confident person. Hold your shoulders back and walk with confidence. Even if you don’t feel confident, by taking the confident walk, you body receives those signals. Others will see confidence and in turn you will feel confident.

When you have this newfound confidence and understand that your world is the only world you should create and that everyone else is creating their world, you can choose to be an actor in their play (their world) or just choose to be an extra in their play with a small part and be a lead role in your play. The more attention you put toward another’s perceptions, the more they become a part of your world and their part in your play gets bigger according to the attention that you give it.

You are the one in control of it. You decide who you want to be in your play. Give them a small part or a larger part. It is entirely up to you who you give more attention to.

Once you have gained the confidence in yourself and know exactly what you want to be and have no doubts, the Universe will bring more confident situations and people to you that will compliment your own wonderful confident vibrations.

Celebrating Love in the Law of Attraction

It really doesn’t matter whether you have a significant other to celebrate love. Celebrating love in general, with everyone you hold dear, will help their lives as well as your own.

We all know that through the Law of Attraction the strongest emotions that will bring your desires to you are love and being grateful. These emotions should be an everyday occurrence. Sure, they will help you with attaining what you want in life. But they are very beneficial to every area of your life and others can benefit from your celebrating love.

We have a special day to celebrate love, but it is usually seen as being geared toward romantic love. This doesn’t have to be the case. By offering your feelings about your parents, your children, and anyone else who you love, it will send out wonderful emotions and just make life all around better and all the more precious. When was the last time you told your sister that you loved her? Or a best friend? By doing so, you will spread the feeling of love to another and it will become infectious.

Show someone you care. Visit the rest home in town and give a flower to an elderly person. Bake a heart shaped cake and give it to the volunteers at the animal shelter. Enjoy giving love to others. Tell them how much you appreciate their efforts.

Then there is the ultimate form of love: Loving mankind. Show the Universe your gratitude by giving back in some way through love.

Instead of just recognizing one day to celebrate love, celebrate the overall love of mankind every day. Help someone with their groceries. Show the Universe that you are giving back to the world. The act may seem small, but it isn’t. There are no small acts of love as far as the Universe is concerned.

You will find by showing small random acts of kindness, you will change as a person. You will begin to see life through the eyes that you were meant to see through, the eyes that help mankind through the Universe.

Take your significant other and create some random acts of kindness and love for everyone. There are many people who feel unloved, and by showing your love and gratitude through the perception that every human being deserves love, this act of kindness will pass the torch to the one receiving the love. And they will continue to pass the torch along, until your kind acts have affected more than just your original, single act of kindness. This is how you spread love and gratitude throughout the world. By supporting each other and letting everyone know that they are loved.

Pass on the love and gratitude through the Law of Attraction, and just wait and see what attracts back to you. We guarantee you won’t be waiting long.

Attracting Miracles Into Your Life With the Law of Attraction

Could there possibly be a way to have miracles come into your life everyday?  There is when you bring the Law of Attraction into the equation. When you expect a miracle, you receive a miracle and that is just about as simple as it gets.  Expect and Receive.

 

Miracles happen everyday, but some we just don’t see.  The sun rising, the flowers blooming, the birth of a baby are all miracles and when you begin to see what kind of miracles are part of your everyday life, you will begin to notice even more miracles in your life.

 

Take a moment and think about every miracle of your day from the fact that your body just automatically works, to how the sun comes up each morning and sets each evening.  By focusing on these miraculous thoughts and feelings, you will start to enjoy your own life miracles.

 

We were on a deadline one day and everyone in the office was working more than diligent.  Lots of fun talk and mirth when one of the servers went down.  You should have seen the look on everyone’s faces, what with a looming deadline approaching.  Each one of us took a look at the computer and tried to help figure out the problem.  Working in our office is quite something because even though we are all card carrying Law of Attraction practitioners, some can fall off the wagon when it comes to a crisis of this proportion.  Our newly hired receptionist said it first: “Well, guess we should expect a miracle, don’t you think?”  We all looked at her and released a sigh of relief.  We all knew that no matter what, our job was to trust the Universe and expect a miracle.  So we did.  Sure, there were some iffy moments wondering if it would all come through as the day began to end. 

 

We had called our computer man but he was out on calls and wouldn’t be in the rest of the day.  We were going to have to wait until the next day which would have put us way behind schedule, but we kept the faith and knew that even if we were delayed it would work as it should.  In the meantime, we expected a miracle.  Anytime anyone brought up something about the downed server we would remind him or her that it didn’t matter because a miracle would happen.   

 

We were the last two out the door when who should call?  Our computer repairman.  “Just took a chance you might be there.  I had a cancellation and wanted to know if I could come by?”  MIRACLE and yes, the server was fixed in minutes. 

 

We wrote the words, “Thank you Universe for the miracle” and left it up on the board for all to see in the morning.

 

Expect a miracle.  It may come when you least expect it, or in a different fashion than you thought, but it will come as long as you expect, focus, and release it to the Universe by using the Law of Attraction.

Law of Attraction Article: Manifestation Exercise #3 – Give the Universe Its Own Task List

The following is an exercise that I have learned from Abraham-Hicks. They refer to is as the Placemat Exercise. However, because I do my tasks list on my computer or in a notebook I started mentally calling it the Universe Task List and the name stuck with me.

In case you have never heard of Abraham-Hicks, Esther Hicks is a medium who has long acted as a channel for a nonphysical group of beings known as Abraham. While I know some of you may shy away from the word channel or medium, some of the inspiration they provide regarding using the Law of Attraction is the most enlightening I have ever come across, so I think it would be well worth your time to check them out.

In this case I believe the story goes that Esther Hicks was sitting in a diner one day with her husband talking about how overwhelmed she felt over all the tasks that she had to accomplish within the upcoming days. She received a message from Abraham to turn over the placemat that was sitting in front of her and draw a line down the middle of the paper and a line across the top so it resembled the letter t. She was to write Me on the left side and Universe on the right side.

Then on the left side of the paper she was to write down all of the things that she was inspired to accomplish that day. The ones she was ready and willing to take action on immediately. The tasks that felt right and clear to her.

On the right side of the paper she was to write down all of the things she wanted Universe to take care of for her. Things she wasn’t exactly clear on, felt any kind of resistance to doing, or items she hadn’t even figured how to start accomplishing yet.

The point of this exercise is to 1. Get yourself clear on exactly what it is you are wanting and 2. Allowing and knowing that it is going to happen.

For example, a hypothetical Universe Task List I would use for myself would be:

ME:

1.Write at least 2 fun articles today.

2. Meditate for 20 minutes.

3. Do my yoga.

4. Have lunch with my best friend

5. Respond to some of the emails I have received

6. Update my website with some new articles from other authors

All of the items above are tasks I feel good and inspired about accomplishing. I am happy and enthusiastic about doing them.

Now on the left side I write what I would like Universe to take care of. Items I am not “in the mood for” or “ready to deal with yet” such as:

UNIVERSE:

1. Find me an easy and pain free way to come up with the money to pay the car insurance next month

2. Send me inspiration to help me get clear on the information I want to include in my new ebook

3. Find me an easy and pain free way to get out of a social obligation I’d rather not attend (in your case be specific on what that engagement is)

4. Find the right person who will be able to fix the bug on my computer

5. Find me a simple solution to getting the garage cleaned out

It does not matter how many things you give the Universe (or your higher self, if you prefer) to do. Just know that you are not alone here. What you ask for you will receive.

So as you write out what you want Universe to accomplish, act and feel as if it is without a doubt, going to be taken care of. Feel as if you just handed this list to the most reliable Manager you have ever met and that you are so confident that these things are going to be done, that you do not even have to give them a second thought.

You will be thrilled and amazed at how this works!

For instance, let‘s go back to the example of the list I would give Universe to take care of.

1. Money for the car insurance. How would Universe handle it? Maybe my mother wins money in Atlantic City and she decides to share some with me and I also receive an unexpected check in the mail. Between the two of them – they more than cover the premium.

2. The inspiration for my new ebook. Universe urges me to make an unplanned stop at the library where I find a new book that just came in and I find it is exactly the subject I feel inspired to write about.

3. The engagement I didn’t want to attend. The people I was supposed to meet with call me and tell me something else came up and apologize because we will have to do it another time. No hurt feelings on either side.

4. My computer problem. I find out the guy who runs my yoga class also fixes computers on the side and charges less than half what a professional would. I find this out by simply chatting with the person next to me while doing my fun task of taking the yoga class in the first place.

5. My garage getting cleaned out. My niece has just gotten into selling on Ebay and offers to clean out my garage if she can sell and keep the profit on the items I know longer want to keep.

I can‘t tell you the thrill-chills you will get as you watch Universe work out these kind of “miracles” without any effort on your part.

Now there is one last step to this exercise. As Universe goes about its business and accomplishes each of these tasks for you, it is important that you acknowledge it, be grateful for it and encourage more.

Anytime the Universe easily handles one of my tasks and I have clapped my hands together gleefully (and yes, there have been many times I have literally clapped my hands together gleefully) I always follow up with a “Thank You Universe and more of that please!”

It helps you to take notice of “who” is responsible for helping you out and reinforces the belief that you really can depend on it for the future. Plus when you say “more of that please” and you start knowing it is really coming, you get more excited about handing over the next task and watching with wonder to see how Universe will work it out.

I’ll be honest, while I used to write out this list almost everyday, I now find myself doing it more often mentally. Now if something comes up that I don’t feel like dealing with, I’ll immediately throw it in Universe’s court. For instance, if the boss says I have to work late tonight I give an immediate mental “Yuck! Universe I’ll let you handle this one. I want to go home happily on time tonight.” Then I forget about it and watch as the Universe does its stuff and reminds the boss that his child has a recital tonight and we can’t work late after all.

But if you are just starting with this exercise, I would definitely do the physical list. It will give you a great feeling of relief as you write down the tough things you want “your manager” to deal with, so you can stay focused on the things that you are inspired to do today.

You Can Gain And Lose Weight With Law Of Attraction

Most of you would probably be familiar with the best selling book “Think And Grow Rich” by Napoleon Hill. Many people have claimed that the book changed their thinking and have seen their personal wealth grow in abundance. If people can think and grow rich, then can people think and grow thin? Can thinking to be thin help you to lose weight or conversely, for thin people, help them to gain extra weight?
Ever since the released of Rhonda Byrne’s “The Secret” DVD and book in 2006, The Law of Attraction (LOA), which is the main theme of her work swept the world by storm. If you are unfamiliar with the law of attraction, then the simplistic definition of the law of attraction is that you attract to you what are in your dominant thoughts and what you are focused on. In other words, thoughts become things. That means that you get what you think and focused on.
Of course there are more to it than just merely wishful thinking and if you want to know more, the internet is full of articles on the application of law of attraction.
Experts in the law of attraction such as Bob Proctor, John Assaraf, John Demartini and some others who appeared in “The Secret” explained that recent breakthroughs in neuroscience, quantum physics, metaphysics along with the understanding mental laws, reveal why the “law of attraction” and “positive thinking” work regardless of whether you look at the theory from a metaphysical or a scientific point of view in a Larry King show. Oprah Winfrey also explored this subject several times in her TV programs.
Scientists have long known that your subconscious mind is completely neutral and impartial and it will carry out any instructions the conscious mind give to it. In other words, you can use the law of attraction to attract love, to lose or gain weight, attract wealth, quit smoking or whatever you desire.
Unfortunately, most if not all of us are still running negative programs we picked up from others as children when our subconscious minds were very open, receptive and impressionable, or which we have developed over the years as a result of repetition of our own negative thinking and life experiences.
Yes, many of you may say to me now that you have been thinking of losing weight, but is still getting fatter and fatter. You see, when you are thinking of losing weight, you are using your conscious mind, but what is your subconscious mind thinking? Let me list a few examples :-
a) I am too fat, so I need to lose weight – This thinking cancels out each other. Yes, you want to lose weight, but you are also thinking about being fat. The law of attraction does not react to whether you want it or do not want it, it just delivers to you what you are thinking and focused on.
b) My family members are fat, so I am genetically programed to be fat – I don’t need to explain this further. This is a self limiting thought and guess what? If you think you are fat, then you are. Period.
c) I wish to be thin – Now merely wishing is not good enough, the law of attraction will just entertain your wish. You will always be wishing.
d) It is difficult to lose or gain weight – Then you will never lose or gain weight because it will always be difficult for you to lose weight.
So when you do not lose or gain weight even if you have always wanted to, it could be because of your self limiting subconscious thoughts. Some of these limiting thoughts are so embedded in your subconscious mind that you are not even aware that they are there.
Our own thoughts, when repeated often enough are programed into our subconscious mind and most of the time we do not even know that they are there sabotaging us. These thoughts then become our beliefs, habits and automatic behavior.
To change your results, you must overwrite the negative programming and instill new positive ones into your subconscious mind. If you are getting more of the same or negative results in your life such as not being able to attract more wealth, good health or the body shape that you desire, then you have probably been unconsciously running old negative programs and reinforcing them with daily negative thought patterns.
How do we get rid of limiting beliefs and negative thoughts then?
There are many techniques you can use to get rid of limiting believes and negative thoughts such as using goal setting, positive affirmations, meditations and creative visualizations. I will not describe in detail how these methods work here as many books and articles about them. However, from personal experiences, the best method is using self hypnosis.
What is self hypnosis? You see, instead of spending alot of money for a hypnosis therapist to help you find out your self limiting negative thoughts (there may be thousands of them) in your subconscious mind and re-program new positive thoughts into it, you can now do it yourself through self hypnosis sessions through CDs or MP3s. This will save you a lot of money and time.
So if you want to gain or lose weight to get the bodyshape you want, change your negative beliefs and insert positive ones and by the law of attraction, you will begin to attract events, people, books, food, circumstances etc to help you get the bodyshape that you want. Believe it and see the magic unfurl before you.

How The Law Of Attraction Gave Me A $200 Voucher For My Flight!

You are going to be blown away, just as much as I was, at how the law of attraction worked for me whilst I was in Singapore.
I flew to Singapore a week and a half ago with Jason, John and Lisa for an internet marketing summit and the airline we flew on didn’t have its in-flight entertainment working. Argh, I thought!
A little disgruntled, as I was keen to watch a movie, but I soon got over it when I thought I could get into some solid work and have a chance to read my book.
We stayed in Singapore for 10 days and one of the seminars we attended was the world internet summit. This is when we were invited to go to Texas in August for more workshops and a fabulous party! I thought to myself, hmmm, I’m going to have to find a way to raise some money for myself to pay for my flight. Considering I am from Australia, a flight to America is not cheap! A few people were asking me, will I be going to Texas and my reply was “Yes, I am going. I don’t know how I am going to pay for it, but I am going!”
So we stayed and worked in Singapore until the time came when we had to catch our flight back to Perth. But again, our in-flight entertainment wasn’t working. Bugger, I thought. Anyway, so I read my book again and had a nap before we landed.
Arriving at 12.30am, we went straight home for a well earned sleep. Waking up the next day, I opened my mail and guess what was in there?
Yep, a gift voucher. It was a letter from the airline and a gift voucher worth $200 as a sorry for my in-flight entertainment not working on my way to Singapore. I have traveled and flown on many airlines with hiccups, but never before have I been compensated, like this.
Woo hoo, I thought! Talk about the law of attraction. The day I arrive home, there is money for me to put towards my next flight.
Now I am trying to attract another gift voucher for my in-flight entertainment that did not work on my way home to Perth!
It was really weird how that had happened and I suppose the law of attraction works in mysterious ways. Just believe in the law of attraction, think positively and it will start to work for you.

Making The Law Of Attraction Work

The Law of Attraction exists. It has always existed and as far as we are aware it will always exist as long as the universe does! So how come it doesn’t seem to exist for you?

Many people have watched the film ‘The Secret’ and after feeling motivated and positive have diligently followed the advice given by the teachers in the documentary. However, very few get the results they were aiming for. Why is this? Ok, so if the law of attraction really does exist and is working every minute of everyday why can’t you get it to work for you? Are you in some way different? Do you think the rules of the universe do not apply to you? Of course not! It does, however, feel that way most of the time.

The problem with your inability to get any real tangible results from using techniques designed to utilize the law of attraction is not with the law itself but rather your understanding of it!

The problem really lies with documentaries like ‘The Secret’ because they do not give you the full story. In fact they withhold the greatest secret of all!

The reason why you do not get the results you want from the law of attraction is due almost entirely to your unconscious thoughts. The truth is there are a multitude, (thousands if not millions), of unconscious programs running around in your head like rogue computer programs in a computer system. Your subconscious programs are your beliefs. If these programs are in direct conflict with your conscious desires then these desires can never manifest in your life.

Even if you are lucky enough to use the law of attraction to bring a few of your desires to you, your subconscious programs will quickly ensure they are taken away again! Sound familiar?

We have all had the experience of getting unexpected money just to have it sucked up on bills or other expenses so that we never really get to enjoy it! This is a perfect example of subconscious programming sabotaging our lives.

These negative subconscious beliefs run in the background noise of our minds and are often so subtle that we are not even aware they exist. These subconscious programs are like viruses that infect a computer. Just like a computer your mind is being hindered by these viruses – your negative beliefs. Negative subconscious beliefs literally mess with the operating system of your mind!

It takes diligence to find these negative beliefs. However, once you identify them it is relatively easy to remove them. Once you are aware that you have a negative belief often this is enough to eliminate it as you see the futility and errorneous nature of it!

If you can find and remove your own unconscious beliefs i.e. those negative beliefs and feelings that are in conflict with your desires, then you would find the things that you want in life would just drop into your lap! The law of attraction would work effortlessly for you because all you have to do is think about what you want without any negative thoughts creeping in and you would immediately begin to attract it to you!

If you take the time to observe your everyday thinking, you will soon identify your negative subconscious programs and begin removing them. Then through the natural course of the law of attraction all those things you now desire will begin to come your way.
