How much is workers compensation usually?

I got a letter from the state of CA regarding my mom's death that may be work related. I don't understand why they are sending this almost 2 years after death.

Any clue what this is about?

It's probably an attempt to keep you from suing before the Statute of Limitations runs out for Wrongful Death claims.

You should probably have a worker's comp attorney look at it ASAP because there may be a lot more money to compensate you & your family for your loss.

I would need to read the letter before I could guess what it is about.
