Is this the responsibility of Missouri Worker's Compensation? |
I was getting off of work. I work 12 hour shifts. From 7 am to 7pm. There is then a shift that comes in at 6:30 pm for the next 7 to 7 shift. As these people came in they tracked water from the snow into the doorway. There are 2 doors. You go in one and there is about a 12 X 12 enclosed area and then another door going into the building itself. In that doorway there is about a 6 in. wide metal thing across the floor shaped like a bump. I have no idea what this is called so work with me! I clocked out and went heading for the door with everyone else and bam, hit the floor. Oh and I work with machines that have oil all over the floor next to them and there is oil on the bottom of my shoes. Is the workers comp ins. comp. for the temp svc. not responsible for the bill? Just because I had already clocked out. I clocked out and fell 30 seconds afterwards!!! I would think so since you are legally still on company property and in their building, not by any fault of your own. |
