Need help writing my Last Will and Testament?

In the event that I will die I want to have a last will and testament so that those greedy members of the family don't help themselves to whichever they see they want? Does anyone know of a website I can Dowload a Last Will and Testament for free and print it out?

The law says that even a Will written in your own hand and signed and dated, is legal and valid. (As it should be.) There are many sites that have a downloadable Last Will and Testament. Just do a search for those words.

I would never trust this as a legal and binding document. I would only download one as a guide to what I wanted to make sure and tell my attorney. Schools surely could benefit from an endowment!

Just enjoy all of your money and property before you die. Go around the globe, have good medical treatment, have gettogether parties etc...the list is endless for you to to make the best of this life......Sell all unneeded and excess properties. Spend all teh money yourself. Why care a damn for greedy people.
Why are you so afraid of your greedy members of your family?

Here lies Mr. Blue Su, may he rest in peace. Why do you want it to be for free, if so just do it here right now and let the world know, then you can email the final result to all concerned. But just maybe you may want to go to one of the suits they call lawyers and have it made official, the worst will be a couple of hundred dollars and then it will be almost fool proof. the suit who does it for you can also tell you how to avoid the very thing you think they may revert to. But, hey the cheap way is right here, right now, and then email it to everyone concerned. And to make it really official add their names at the end of it all complete with current addresses. I am not a lawyer but I bet it would stand up in Judge Judy's court.

You can go to any office supply who sells forms and buy a blank 'Last Will and Testament'. Also, go to Google and type this in and you'll get thousands of websites. Just go down the list until you find one that is free and print it out. They will only be samples and you'll have to fill in all the information you need. Be sure and check your State to see how many witnesses you'll need. Some States require two and some three. It also has to be notarized with your witnesses and you present, and in front of the Notary. Make sure everyone has identification. Another thing, each page of your will has to be numbered and initialed. It would be best if you'd take a copy to your local court house and have it recorded.

Every state has different guidelines for last wills and testaments. If there are any good ones out there to download or programs you can buy, check with an attorney in your area who handles these things to make sure what you get will be legal and binding in your state.

There is no set proforma for making your last will and testament. You can give your self acquired property to anyone - related or unrelated. The will should be in writing and witnessed. No need for compulsory registration. You can yourself make your will without going to any attorney.
