Can I just write my own will on a piece of paper and sign it and have it notarized and will that hold up in court. ? Yes - That is what my now deceased husband did. Holds up in court. No. It must comply with the laws of your state. It might or it might not. That is why there are lawyers who will make sure that your will is properly executed. |
