If I type my own will and testament, have it notarized...is it legal...anything else I have to do? I don't think that it is 100% legal. Make sure you file a notarized copy of it with Probate Court and keep a copy for yourself with a note that the original is with the Court. You might also want to give a copy to whoever you list as the executor so they will have a copy, too. An hour's time in a lawyer's office is time/money well invested. |
