Did you hear rushs radio ad "we can never repay the debt we owe American veterans"?

so he supports unnecessary wars and knows those who fight can never be compensated.....is that why he is so popular with the right?

salvador,,,,exactly where did i blame the Vets?.....numnutz

I have many vets in my life, and no, I can never repay them for fighting for my freedom and the freedom of our allies. My Grandfather was disabled due to a war but was extremely proud of the fact that he did what was right.

Even if you do not agree with the fight, it does not mean that you can repay a man or woman who is willing to volunteer to do a job that is low paying, under appreciated, is less respected than the guys on the fishing show Deadliest Catch; and in some instances have been spat on because the are "killing innocent children for oil".

A vet gave you the right to freedom a speech. How CAN a person ever repay that?

This is NOT an ad. Rush has used that phrase several times over the last 20 YEARS. It refers to his overall support for those who serve in the military. It has NOTHING to do with ANY specific war. Report Abuse

I am not a rush fan but I agree with the statement. We shouldn't judge veterans for the war they fought in. All that matters is they answered the call of their country. Soldiers don't have the option of deciding where or why they fight they are just doing what they are ordered to do.

He is right, anyone who spends time in a combat zone fighting for their nation and the freedoms it gives it's citizens knows the sacrifices we went through, but i am one who does not seek gratitude or payment for serving the country i live in and love, God Bless America.~

I think he means we owe our lives to these men and we need to assist them with medical care after war and anything more that can be done.

Nope sorry, I don't watch LIEberal media. They lie way too much.
