How many Gulf War 1991 Veterans sufferring with the "unknown" are still alive today?

I have the Gulf War Unknown and take medication unheard of. Not one can be linked to a mental illness. I am now fighting the VA for medication. They have stopped giving me doctor appoinements. Because it's "unknown" it's not diagnosed and I don't get compesated for it. So, I pay for medical aids that are needed. The cost is costly and currently I reside in Brooklyn New York in my car. I am a female and can prove beyond a reasonable doubt. That all I have is a direct result of combat. I must take 450 mg of Benedaryl a day that the VA is giving me and has for the past 16 years. I quit asking the VA for aid as their aid is placing you in a Mental ward and not treating for the true cause.

I'm a Gulf War vet too, I don't suffer from anything other than bad knees. I have seen other vets that have suffered from something very bad that has yet to be defined. My heart goes out to you and your plight. Just so you know Benadryl is not for Mental Illness it is an allergy medication, but has some other uses i.e. Parkinson disease. See link.
