Is it illegal to have a carwash to support Homeless Veterans?

I had ask a question about haveing a car wash to Support homeless Veterans. the answer i got was it was illegal? How is that? i am Provideing a service and accepting donations? anyone?

As long as you do it on property that you own, or have permission to be on, then it is perfectly legal.

Do it right then it will not be illegal

Check with your city government, you will probably need to get a permit. The fee for the permit is almost always less than what the fine would be if you operate an event without the permit.
