Trust fund/inheritance $25,000 on 9/10/08?

Is anyone familiar with a trust fund or inheritance? My husbands aunt is the executrix and she isn't getting in touch with him. He turns 25 on 9/10/08 and this is when the funds are suppose to be disbursed to him. I am not sure what the process of this is and neither is my husband. We have been told that paperwork to sign and notarized should be sent and then a check mailed. He has called and left several messages with our phone#. He wrote her a letter and she didn't respond. I don't know how funds are suppose to be given. The executrix is greedy. I just don't want her to tie things up. PLEASE HELP US.

This is based in GA and we have the WILL. We just need to know the basic question.....how do we get the inheritance? Is the a process? its due to him in 3 days!!! Wednesday! We live in TX though. Advice please.

you should be able to get copy of last will. go through public records.
* i don't think the executrix actually has access to the inheritance. but i could be wrong. try calling a local attorney. sometimes, more than not, you can get simple legal advice over the phone at little or no charge. i have been able to do this, but i live in a small town in tx. try sending your next correspondence by return receipt requested. then you will know for sure if she received it as she will have to sign for it. it also gives you a record that you have inquired about the matter if legal issues do arise. hope that helped. :)
