Can I get a restraining order for someone who's NOT physically harming me...just being annoying? Read inside.?

My ex boyfriend and I are going to the same school again, a fact that greatly disturbes me. After we broke up a year or so ago, he sent me a text message, calling me a flatchested, antisocial whore.
Since then, I've received three myspace friend requests, and many messages from him begging us to be friends.
At school, every time he passes me in the hallway, he says "Hi, Hannah!", and I'm really not comfortable with it. The first time he said hi to me, I told him that I would prefer it if he didn't talk to me. Then he did it again, I ignored it that time. The third time, I repeated my request. There have been three more "hello" incidents and another time when I was leaning against a pillar at school and talking to some friends, he came up and leaned on the other side of it and sat there mocking me.
He really freaks me out, honestly. He's the kind of guy that would rape a girl. He also follow me and my sister around the mall one time...and it worries me.
When he says hello, though, it's not like he's honestly being friendly, he's saying it like...like...I guess like how he'd say it if he was on a bet with his friends to get me back as a friend. It's not sincere.
So...my question is...can I get a harassment restraining order for this, even though he's not really threatening me, but repeatedly violating my request?

I'm really only thinking of my own safety...because I don't trust him.

Oh yeah, I'm fourteen, and he's fifteen..or sixteen. I'm not 100% sure of his age.

There are stalking laws on the books, go to the police.

its possible but unless you can provide physical evidience that he is harming you then it is very difficult to get a restraining area.

No, you cannot get a restraining order for someone who is "annoying". If you could, there would be millions of them every year. Just ignore him.

Yes you can and I rarely take this position but I think you will be helping him by doing so. It may take the police to wake him up. However, the school may expel him as a result. Still do it.

Use a friend to warn him. If you speak to her or even look at her again a restraining order will be filed.

They are not automatic so keep track of why you need this, he is interfering with my school work because I'm constantly on edge wondering where he will show up. School has became a scary place as a result etc.

At your age you'll have to have a good case.
