Can a Warrent be issued for five year old traffic violation!!!? |
The city of Cleveland Ohio has been on a rampage issuing outstanding warrants to traffic violators some as old as 7 years old. They claim these were overlooked and they just found them so a ton of people have been blocked from registration and have to go to court---I was told that I failed to show my drivers license and therefore was summons to appear in court me back in 2003--funny thing is I never received a letter, I never had a problem renewing my tags year after year and the ticket stated the time allotted to pay the ticket or schedule a court appearance. When paying a ticket one is asked to show their license as well--So again I was told that our city "overlooked this case and found it some 5 years later" --Does anyone buy this crap -- Cleveland will do anything for money --I fought 2 bogus tickets in the past and now this--Policemen and Women or Lawyers please answer!! by the way Ipadi this ticet back in 2003 The answer is yes, they can. Plus you are most likely facing a failure to appear charge. yes they can |
