I just got a traffic ticket for "failure to register" should I plead guilty or no contest? |
Does it even matter? Or should I walk into the police department with explosives and blow myself up? I don't plan on registering the vehicle I'm going to sell it or something. I don't want it anymore. I just drive it to work. No contest means you are not admitting to the violation, you just chose not to fight it. If you drive the car you have to register it, or the cops are gonna keep pulling ya over. You might as well just pay it-your guilty no matter what. I know my husband lost his licience for not registering his pkup truck-we live in NJ. its a fix and dismiss ticket.... if you do not register it, you can not sell it,.....you would not be the registered owner,..... You need to register to sell. Most cops are good. I would plead guilty it will be easier & less costly in the end. |
