Limited Tort Coverage? |
I was tboned about a week ago. There is video of my accident clearly showing the woman who hit me was total fault. I have full coverage on my policy and limited tort. I didnt know anything about tort coverage. My father choose that for me. I had a sprained wrist and knee. Continuously I have severe neck and back pain. I was told I CANT SUE for pain and suffering then I was told theres a limit to how much I can sue fr. Im not sue happy person but Im in pain and I want to make sure I dont have long term neck and back coverage. If I do I want to make sure Im covered. Any State Farm agents out there I have State Farm need advice. What you are actually seeking is legal advice and medical advice. While the agent can define limited and full tort, he can not say whether your situation merits the exception to the limited tort rule. And, he certainly can't tell you if you will have permanent damage. Also, why don't you call your agent's office? They will best be able to help you as each state varies. Of course, I assume you are in PA as that is the only state I know of that has the tort option. Good luck with everything! |
