In order to sue Sprint PCS I need the name of an officer at their local Somerville/BOS MA office. Got info?

The Sprint "resident agent" is located in Boston. The "princicpal office" is in Somerville. Not only do I need an officers name, but which county has the jurisdiction in this matter? Please help me get justice from this telecommunications Goliath.

Talk to a lawyer. Most likely, to properly sue the company, you will have to serve the Resident Agent. If you serve anyone else, the case will likely be thrown out.

Actually, you should consult a lawyer about this. Quite frankly, it depends on WHAT the problem is. As for getting the names of employees, just call them. the person who picks up the phone will state their name. The location of the office might not determine the jurisdiction you need to file in. It depends on what you are filing for as well and where the original problem occurred. Talk to an attorney. You'll have to get one to sue a "goliath" anyway.

sommerville is in middlesex county.

I don't know why you think you need the name of an "officer", the Complaint need only indicate Sprint PCS as defendant unless the matter involves others, then be sure to list all.

A Civil Complaint should most likely be filed at state court, at a county courthouse, depending on your state.

The sure fire way to get jurisdiction correct the first time is to file it at state court, at the county courthouse to which the office you have the issue with is located. This may not be in your best interest, but you won't waste money on incorrect filings.

I suspect you are pursuing this matter on misinformation, I also strongly suggest you go to your library and borrow a copy of Nolo's (publisher) "Represent Yourself in Court" or if your just going to small claims borrow Nolo's "Everybody's Guide to Small Claims Court" these are likely the best resources available for you. Nolo also has an informative website.

Regardless of your case type you have at least one year from the time of occurance to file your complaint.
