Yes, it is. That's why Medicaid does not pay for abortions.

I don't want to exempt religious institutions and their properties from taxes.
I don't want to fund the Iraq war.
I don't want to subsidize the health insurance premiums of members of Congress when they can't find a way to provide health care insurance for all Americans.
I don't want to exempt universities that have hundreds of millions of dollars from taxes while they charge exorbitant tuition.
But as a taxpayer I do.

Christians are so focused on death in heaven that they allow America to be sold out from under us to the highest bidder.

Through our taxes we all pay against something we disagree with. I am very much against the war in Iraq. Don't want to be paying for it. My personal, deepest held, spiritual beliefs are that this money should be spend on the healthcare and education of our people. You probably don't care about that though because there is a good chance you are for that war, in my experience most anti abortion people are. OK, likewise I don't care if you are against abortion. I am not forcing you to have one. Just saying that freedom of choice is in the best interests of the country.

Religious rationale is not enough justification to get out of paying taxes. If Christians have a problem with their taxes paying for abortions, they can make their will known in the voting booth like everyone else, or they can just chalk it up to "giving unto Caesar."

There is no such thing as a federally funded abortion. Planned Parenthood is a not for profit organization which may receive some state funding however is mostly funded by donation and grants.

No more than using my tax dollar to pay for a war that violates my beliefs. Everyone has different beliefs. Taxes are used to pay for a lot of things. We do not get to say where each of our tax dollar goes.

Yes. Abortion is a choice. People who choose abortion should pay for it themselves. Why Pro Choice people think otherwise is beyond me.
