Unemployment Tax in Toronto?


I have a roommate who moved to Toronto last year since then she in unemployed.Her husband who lives in the US supports her, she is still waiting to get US visa. where can she file for unemployment tax. I honestly dont know how it works here as even i am new to this country. Please help
