If MMA isnt allowed in many states, what other sports/activities should be banned for similar reasons? |
I'm trying to argue for the sanctioning of Mixed Martial Arts combat but many states and provinces do not allow it, because it seems too 'barbaric'. Surely there are other activites out there that contradict that, can u name any? Rock climbing comes to mind but its just an individual sport How bought football, it is a controled fight. Just not one on one so most people will rally and say it is not hte same casue it is a team sport. You will find that most indvidual sport are not sanctioned becasue most dont think the individual deserves to be credited for their achmplshments. Soccer. Despite its having strict rules designed to prevent fatal and unnecessary injuries, it can be really violent. We're talking bones being broken, skulls getting fractured, limbs being bent in ways they shouldn't - and that's just the audience. The players are even more brutal. |
