Last 4 of your social security number cause Idenity theft? |
I keep being asked for my full name and the last 4 of my social for all these job hunters. Is there a way that giving out my full name and the last 4 of my social to all these people can cause me to be a victim to Identity Theft? I have also had people posting on monster telling me if I don't give my full social then I can not apply... Does that sound like a scam? You do not need to give your Social Security number to a prospective employer unless you are hired.
