Can sexual harassment get an attorney dis-barred? |
b/c my new boss is a jackass and has informed me that if i dont sleep with him he has the final say as to wether i keep my job or not. not to mention he's married and i work with his wife. any information would be helpful. thank you. get a new job and then report him you should not have to deal with this at work. Of coarse if he does mention it again and since you work with his wife I would let him know that I was going to talk to her the next time it came up and should he decide to fire you bc of it that you have already talked to another lawyer (even if you haven't) and they say you have a case. Good luck. Sounds like you need another job. Proving sexual harrasment is a difficult task. Based on what you are presenting is considered heresay or your words versus his. Because you assert that he is an officer of the court will make it even more difficult because of the networking relationships he has in the legal community. The best thing for you to do is to resign peacfully and search for something where sexual harrassment isn't tolerated. |
