WOMEN: what do you consider sexual harassment?

If you tell a person you are uncomfortable with the interaction, or their behavior (of course it has to be sexual, overly flirtatious, or demeaning in some capacity), and they refuse to respect those boundaries it is sexual harassment.

It could be anything from an unsolicited back rub, excessive touching, remarks about "conquests", a suggestive nickname, degrading comments, frequent sexually explicit conversations within your ear shot, there are a variety of things that fall under the category of sexual harassment. If it is making your workplace uncomfortable because you are feeling objectified in some capacity is is probably sexual harassment.

Looking at me wrong.

When a male person leers at me or crowds me emotionally or physically and does not relate to me as just a human being, I am uncomfortable and feel sexually harassed. Back off!

Grabbing, starring, commenting on boobs, butts etc.

anything that you may feel is uncomfortable... even if he touches your hand... no one had any right to do something to u that makes u even a slight bit uncomfortable :-) good luck

I consider Sexual Harrassment to be any unwanted form of flirting,touching,etc.Some guy with a huge ego trying to be a little to sweet.

threatening loss of position in a company for not complying to sexual advances. That in my opinion is sexual harrassment. stupid sexual comments can and should be ignored, no need to get offended just ignore them, it is when they make sexual advances on you, you say no and they threaten your position that it becomes sexual harrassment.

Very flirty, touchy, hugging a lot, sexual jokes....just to name a few. When you feel they're invading your personal space and just getting too close to you....just a bad vibe.

"Sexual harassment" is the legal term of art. Asking this question is like asking what is "your" definition of "murder", ultimately it does not matter what "your" definition is, it matters what legal definition is.
However in this specific case it SOMETIME actually does matter is the woman felt "harassed":

Sexual harassment is defined by title VII of Civil Rights Act of 1964[1].
It has two types:
A. Quid pro Quo harassment --
This is when the sex is EXPLICITLY required to get or keep the job, or to receive the promotion.
B. Hostile Work environment harassment--
(1) the employee suffered intentional discrimination because of their sex;
(2)the discrimination was persuasive and regular;
(3) the discrimination detrimentally affected the plaintiff;
(4) the discrimination would detrimentally affect a reasonable person of the same sex in that position; and
(5) the existence of superior respondent liability.鈥?br>

As you notice part (3) required that the WOMAN must have actually been hurt.
But as you can see there lots of other requirements.

if someone is making me uncomfortable, knows they are doing it, and will not stop that is harassment, even if it's just staring.
