Can somebody sue you for sexual harassment when they are butt ugly?

My HR Director has threatened to do that to me. I got to tell you, she is so ugly I would never have approached her in that way. Do you think the judge will consider her obvious lack of physical charms in his decision?

You don't get it. You need to check yourself!

Any of the following behavior may be considered sexual
harassment or may be evidence of sexual harassment:

Overt sexual advances or sexual activities such as unwelcome touching and hugging; inappropriate
invitations ("join me in a hot tub for a good time");
obscene phone calls, letters, or e-mails; sexual sneak
attacks (grabbing breasts or buttocks); soliciting sexual
services; exposure of intimate body parts; or sexual assault

鈥?More subtle sexual activities or communications such as
insisting or requesting that workers wear revealing clothes,
unwelcome pressure for dates, inappropriate gifts such as
lingerie, the use of sexual innuendo, comments about
people's bodies or physical appearance, "accidentally"
brushing sexual parts of the body, leaning over and
invading a person's space, sexist and insulting graffiti,
sexist jokes and cartoons, and displaying pornography or
nude or semi-nude pictures in the workplace

鈥?Negative activities designed to make a group unwelcome
in the workplace such as sabotaging a person's work,
demanding comments such as "Hey, baby, give me
a smile," hostile put-downs, exaggerated and mocking
"courtesy," and public humiliation

鈥?Gestures and non-verbal communications such as leering, hooting, sucking, lip-smacking, whistling and animal
noises, and sexually explicit gesture

鈥?Discussion of sexual matters such as one's partner's sexual inadequacies or prowess, stories of sexual exploitation, graphic descriptions of sexual activities,
and dirty jokes

IT鈥橲 A FACT Both men and women may be victims
and harassers.

A man sued 2 men and won. They were making rude "queer" remarks. The man was heterosexual.

Offhand, I'd say you are probably guilty.

You're joking right?

she can have your *** fired and get some money out of this.

I am going to strongly suggest that you don't try to defend yourself!

Anybody that is that ugly doesn't stand a chance. I wonder why she picked you out..soul mates perhaps, or do you just attract the ugly ones...

If she is your boss she should just fire you or make a formal complaint about it, take discipline action against you. If you were her boss, then she could and if she has grounds for doing so, she might win.

maybe she wants to be harassed! lol (wishful thinking)

I hope so.

She doesn't know what she is talking about. Contact the law offices of Cash, Stiff'em and Run, they will no doubt be able to countersue on your behalf, and you'll probably get extra damages for having to look at her all day.

Hire a supermodel to walk into the courtroom and give you a good luck open mouthed kiss. You'll be out of there in about 15 minutes.

When you go to court, tell them your idea of fun is to go to the mens room at the local airport and brush your foot against the guy in the stall next to you........... case dismissed. :)

Every time she makes a threat, just say, "Mooooo!" in your best cow impression.

I've seen it happen here in California the land of fake beauty..... you better get out while you can.

If she can't prove it, you aren't going to be found guilty.

Appearance has nothing to do with it. Don't play the ugly card too much in the trial because if you do the judge will get suspicious.

Give statements about your past relationships, bring in ex-girlfriends or current girlfriends and have them tell the court that you have not done such things to them in the past.

Do everything you can to prove your case without attacking her or her appearance.

Charge her with assault. Convince the judge that looking at her face is killing you.

yep.

Yes I've heard of a story that a guy try saying that this really hot girl Provoked him into having sex with her then turned it around saying it was a rape. Anyways the judge wanted to see the girl before sentencing the guy to anytime. But regardless she can still sue you for sexual harassment so make sure not to hang out around her. Good Luck.

Yes she can. Regardless of her physical appearance, she can win the case against you if you are proven guilty. It doesn't matter if you are ugly, beautiful, fat, thin gay or lesbian as long as someone is sexually harrasing you, you have the right to sue that person. Hey, who knows if she/he may be ugly but someone just wanted to sexually harass her/him then it would be injustice if the person is really guilty but he was acquited because the victim is ugly. That would be stupid and a total injustice. If you are not guilty there is nothing to worry, unless of course you made a pass on her then you better get ready.

looks don't matter. It is what is said and what is done, which matters the most.

Doubtful, though in the back of their mind they may secretly wonder.

BTW, her lack of physical attributes means nothing. I remember growing up that I had a best friend whose Mom was single. She was "THE" homliest looking, dowdy woman you can ever imagine. We found out that at work, she was "getting it on with a married man" AND an extremely handsome man at that! Nobody could figure out "WHY" he would ever even consider her. Granted, she had a great personality but physically {{{shudder}}}, ugh. Bottom line is that the married guy could have cared less about her "looks", not when he could close his eyes and have sex with her. Hey, just being truthful!

If you weren't "sexually harrassing her", were you being "overly friendly and flirty" towards her to garner favoritism perhaps? Because that can be misconstrued and seen as sexual harrassment as well. At the very least, "MAJOR sucking up to the boss".
