Is it harder for a man to claim sexual harassment at work?

my female supervisor grabs me on my privates and my butt whenever she can and i told her i was going to complain but she said no ones gonna believe me and i would be fired for causing a disruption..any advice/suggestions? i love my girlfriend and would never cheat on her..she doesnt know about this..

No, but there is the burden of proof. Get a copy of your company's sexual harassment. Also, look on line for the sexual harassment laws in your state. Has anyone else seen her around you? My advice is to confide in someone you trust at work. Each time the supervisor comes near you, have that person bring something to your desk. If this is happening to you, it has probably happened to someone else.

Again, see what the guidelines are for your company. You should at least be able to vent to a professional who has been hired by the company and must keep your complaint confidential.

Depending on how long you have been with your girlfriend, see if you feel comfortable talking to her. If your relationship is going to grow, you need to be able to discuss everything in your life with her.

This is your first step. Even if you do not have grounds, yet, to file a complaint you need help. Don't become a victim, become a survivor.

Good luck. Email me or post another question if I can be of assistance.

If this is true and you are not putting us on, get a wittiness to support your complains, the go to her boss

Yes. There is definitely a double standard. Have you seen the movie "Disclosure"?

take a voice activated recorder in and when she does it again say your really gonna report her and when she says that again youll have proof . then sue .

get up stand up for your life----you told her"no". Applies to both sexes

Yea, it is harder. Tell her you're gay.

If she looks good, grab her back.

Yes, it;s harder, but if what you're going thru isn't sexual harassment, then I don't know what is.

Go to HR. But before you do, make damn sure you are not doing anything to provoke this kind of behavior.

i say take her down!!! there are ways to go about doing things such as this....you just have to know what your doing and why...

i don't thinks its harder...just not as acceptable and more embarrassing...

What your boss is doing stinks. It shouldn't matter if she is a woman and you are a man. If your company has a very strict policy about sexual harassment, your boss is just trying to intimidate you so you won't report her. My advice is document, document, document. Report her and if your company tries to fire you or discriminate, get a lawyer. Also, if your supervisor has been around for awhile, chances are she had done this before. Good luck.

Video tape it, or you can get nasty and enjoy it.

The law applies to both equally. The next time it happens tell her that you want it stopped immediately. The trick her is the proof that you told her. The way you get this is right after you tell her, you need to right the whole incident down on paper and then turn it into her boss. Don't forget to sign it and have her boss sign it, date it, time stamp it and give you a copy.

She will soon have a meeting with her boss and the next time it happens...she is gone...that is the law.

If nothing happens, then go hirer and keep copies of everything. Eventually you will get someones attention and the higher you go the more people there will be looking for jobs.
