Sexual harrasment?

Everyone at work kept wishing me happy "Hump Day". Should I file for sexual harassment against my boss? He had a smile on his face when he said it. I just think the idea of having an orgy in the office sounds unprofessional and disgusting! I left work early to avoid any happenings. Even our 78 year old secretary was wishing me "happy hump day"!

hope your kidding. Hump day is usually referred to as Wednesday since it is the middle or "hump" of the week.

You are not very well schooled in words are you.

Well, since Wednesday is the very middle of the week, it is considered the "hump" of the week. A lot of people say Happy Hump Day! and have no hidden agenda or sexual innuendo behind it. I really don't think your argument for sexual harrassment would hold up.

uhm...im pretty sure hump day means wednesday. its the middle of the week, so its kinda like a hill. two days of work youve already went through, two more before you..

as for harassment. no you must warn them it is harassment, usually a certified letter. also you must have proof of it. video email, voice recording. but these may be illegal in your state. best to find out before.

but i would just let it go. these people may get upset if you complain and see revenge on you later. its not worth the fight.

Are you serious? You'd get laughed out of an attorney's office if you wanted to file a lawsuit against your employer. HUMP DAY is Wednesday...which is TODAY it means you are over the HUMP of the work week and headed towards the weekend.
