Is there a Legal Foundation that can assist me if I can't afford an attorney in a civil suit against my job?

Is there a Legal Foundation that can assist me if I can't afford an attorney in a civil suit against my job? I need to file suit against a former employer for physical/verbal assualt and sexual harassment... The situation is bigger than small claims court so I want that to be my last resort.. Is there a foundation or legal group that assistant with that in any way? I'm in the Atlanta, Ga area..

Regarding the sexual harrasment, you can file a complaint with the EEOC, an agency of the federal government, without a lawyer. They will try to resolve your complaint to your satisfaction. If they are unable to do that, they will issue you a right to sue letter, at which point you will likely be able to find a lawyer who will take your case for a percentage of the settlement. You can file EEOC complaints in person, on the phone, or by mail.
As for physical assault, you should file a criminal charge with the magistrate in the jurisdiction the assault happened.

Try legal aid, also call the Labor Board where you live, maybe they can help.

If you're black contact the NAACP. They will come to the defense of nearly any one... just look at the Michael Vick case.
