I have had a secret security clearance while i was in the millitary i think that it has expired i have gained?

some debt about 2000 and i have a few traffic tickets will that stop me from getting another one i am about to graduate from college in a few months and i want to get a job in the government afterwards will these things stop me from getting the proper clearance

2K is not a lot of debt as long as you are handling it OK. As to the tickets, it depends. If you have alcohol or drug related violations, that will make it iffy or if the tickets indicate that you routinely act recklessly that could be a factor. None would automatically disqualify you from a security clearance but all would be considered.

As long as you are paying on your debt every month and have good credit, I do not see any problem. You do need good credit and tend to the traffic tickets too.
