If you recieve a check from social security drawing off your dad will it be cut out if u get married? |
Okay I was wonderng if my check would be cut out if I got married cuz i recieve a check on my dad every month.its suppose to be for child support but with me getting married would that still cut it out Yes it should stop within a few months of you marrying. This is because you are no longer in need of child support, as you are married and your husband/wife should be your support from then on. Also it will stop when you are no longer enrolled in school or college. Are you receiving survivor's benefits? If so, they cut off when you get married. How old are you? More than likely, it would stop. Wouldnt it be worth it to wait until you are of age? |
