If a job requires security clearance, does that mean the applicant must be us citizen only? ? |
Can anyone help me? 2 yes answers and 2 no answers , who am I gonna believe? Not necessarily, it just means you don't lie and tell them you're a citizen if you're not because they'll do a background check. Just be completely truthful on your application, and if they still hire you then obviously they were fine with you not being a citizen. Although you'll definitely need to have a work permit, they won't hire you if you're an illegal. Yes. I served with a few individuals while I was on ACtive Duty from Canada and one from Columbia but they were in fields that did not require any security clearance level. not necesarily, depending on the level of clearance. but it gets real hard if you are not. you have to been born in the united states by u.s. born parents |
