It means that if you give up your rights (or the rights of others) in the name of safety (that will most likely be short lived anyway), then you don't deserve your rights or safety (you should be arrested and possibly imprisoned/put to death). that means if you are willing to let your governmet tap your phones, browes your e-mails, use spy satelites to spy on American citizens, and torture people then you don't deserve the freedoms the Constitution protects, and the security the government is supposed to provide. "God helps those who helps themselves". The above quote pertains to sheeple who believe whatever the media tells them and live in fear of terrorists. Cowards.
