Who or what organization pays for OBAMAs trips overseas, i.e., transportation, security, hotels, logistics?

Whats funds are used to support this enormous costs to have candidates travel to other countries?

Not Obama's own money, he is not independently wealthy. The money is donated,and I remember after winning one of the primaries, he received over $100 million within about 5 days.huge amounts are spent, and though there have been some murmurings about it in Congress, no real attempt has been made to limit it, Because Congressmen and Senators spend huge amounts too.Republicans, supported heavily by big business, usually have much more at there disposal than Democrats, so is this system fair?
If this type of thing went on ,for example, in the UK, heads would be rolling and may be the government would fall.The amount that can be spent by each candidate at election time is quite low,and is limited by law.Many candidates have little to spend,and it is quite common to see holders of high government officeson the doorstep, or pushing leaflets through doors themselves.In the US, it sems that only the rich can afford to stand for election, which makes a mockery of the 'By the people for the people' ideal.

I don't know, but my "whiled" guess is that for this purpose (as well as for paying the Clinton Female in her debt) he used money, which was donated for his campaign by people who believed he would concentrate on the problems of the American citizen. And indeed, the best favor the US can do the rest of the world is concentrate on problems within the US, and leave the rest of the world alone.

What about McCain's? Does that not matter? John McCain went on his own European trip, Middle East trip, and a South American trip. I would assume that he's spent just as much, if not more, on foreign travel as Obama has.

you do, in the form of your tax dollars because hes gotta bring the secret service around with him everywhere he goes, and they are financed through YOUR TAX DOLLARS! im sure people will have you believe its his fund raising thats paying for it, but i honestly dont know ANYONE who has donated to him. and this global escapade of his isnt cheap. seriously, why is flying over the world when the AMERICAN PEOPLE are to vote whos president? and israel doesnt care too much for him. GO ISRAEL!!
