Will this ruin my permanent record?

I got caught stealing $12 worth of gum and fabreeze from walmart. they're making me go to court, i guess to see if I have to do community service or somthing. the police were called and I think they kept the "report" that walmart security made. and im not alowed back in that walmart.

anyways, will this be somthing I have to put on job/college applications? scolorships? will it follow me in any strongly negative way? or will this be not a big deal...

yea im a minor, so i should be good by 18. thanks!

Oh, and thanks also for the lecture, it changed my life

if you r a minor, it won't be on record when you turn 18. and $12 is petty larsony, so it shouldn't affect an application that much.

Stealing IS a big deal and stop kidding yourself! You will get in serious trouble and more than community service! You are a minor. Your records will be sealed. You may think it's "NO big deal" now but Stop stealing it's a crime!

First of all, Y would u steal???, n second of all, Unfortunately, It might be or they might let u off the hook depends on ur feelings, and it also depends on how old u r

No. Most thieves think that their stealing is no big deal and you are on the right path for that career. Keep it up.

it depends on your age , if its a first offence and what the judge says. they will tell you in court if it will.
