I have heard that some people say that even thoug they are still working full time and they are 65+?

they will be able to draw a social security check; how can that be?

That is the way the system works, if a person starts drawing social security at the age of 62 then they have to pay social security 1.00 dollar for every 2.00 they make, once they reach 65 they can work and make as much , money as they can and it is not deductible, a new law was signed by Bill Clinton in 1996 allowing people to work and still draw their benefits that the paid in all there lives, they are not receiving money free from the govt they earned it the same as f they had paid it into a private retirement plan, and lastly the amount that people receive on SS does not compare to the amount they have paid in, and multimillionaires who may own large stock port folios and maybe businesses are still paid their social checks.~
