How do i get social security number for my child who has just come to TX,US?

my child needs a ssn we are living in texas she wants the driving license how do we get it..........help

That's a million dollar question. If they were born here then they should already have one, if not then they're probably not legal and the US doesn't just hand them out to anyone. thank God.

If one is legal and has all of the required papers it takes no time to get a card. You just go to the site and it will tell you what you need to do. No help is needed otherwise.
