Meijer lay off help?

I was layed off yesterday along with many other people, because "we were too many to support" or whatever other crappy reason. I am now homeless and without any means of support, it was only 100 a week, but it was something.
Anyways, I was trying to find out if there is any chance of the union Meijer works with having job security or anything at all. My one friend who still is there said maybe after 90 days or something, he's checking into it. But I've been there 90 days, over 311 hours worked. They didn't even give me my 300 hour raise. I know it's gonna be really hard to find a new job living where I am and all, but I was hoping maybe they screwed up. Or at least does any one know if I've been working long enough to get unemployment and other aid. My grandma is taking me in Mon to try, but I'm worried that me not having kids, and not knowing if I'm pregnant or not, will make them not care that I don't have a home or job. Do I have any rights here through union or government?

I can't stay at my grandma's for much longer, it's not allowed where she lives. So I have to figure out something.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. What they did was completely legal. You have to work at least 20 weeks to get unemployment.
