Is vector a scam???

I was just wondering because I looked at alot of sites and saw that they ask you to do the impossible but during the group interview we were told that if we weren't able to sell any cutlery we can fall back how he put it a "safety net" with the base pay of 14.25 a hour. Also said you can sell knives from 27 dollars to 900 dollars and they supposed to be breaking a national record for sales I guess. I got the job and have to go to three 6hr long training sessions in Which we are not getting paid for.It seems really cool and promises free games of golf and bowling with co workers and tax deduction but the whole security deposit buying your own sample for 145, and "pity story" sales approach sounds kinda iffy.Should I give it a try or run while I still can?

more of a statement than an answer but i too was recently employed at vector, and all this also seemsed fishy to me i also looked at alot of sites and decided you know, there wouldnt be this much crap on a business unless there at least somewhat fraudulent. ive heard o its not suitable for people who dont like selling or cold calling or door to door, even though they tell u its not any of that, u actually have to that to get referals(customers) and if who you are giving a demo to isnt of certain criteria, then you dont even get paid your base pay. i didnt even go to the training, and they called and i just said im not interested in the position. i mean y would ne1 want to waste their gas, cell phone minutes, and time selling something noone actually really wants and suffer that much of a loss. also about the demo kit, y would you pay money to work somewhere? i just 100% believe that vector is pyramid scheme forune 500 that will die when people will realize how acinine there whole "business" is.

i am in texas and actually, i have recieved many different envelopes from this company, but i have just chosen to ignore them because of how skimpy they are with details.. i feel like im taking a top secret mission or something. I called the secretary and she wouldnt even tell me what kind of job it was. I would just say that if you feel you could sell great and not have to worry about this whole sample and deposit then i would say go for it, but what else do they have under their sleeves that they are paying 14 dollars right off the bat, and trying to recruit all these young kids who need this "good looking dollar". If you know what i am saying. I hope that you will make the best decision in your judgement because you are the only one with enough information to understand how they really act! :) i wish you luck honey, and i am glad that i did not get into all of that...
