How do I remove a "flag" from my socail security number I put on it years ago? |
A few years ago i thought a creepy ex boy friend of mine was using my S.S. number so i had a "flag" put on my S.S. number. Now I need to buy a car. How do I remove my flag? The flag was just to prevent someone else from using your social and/or ID. As long as you prove who you are, you don't need to remove the flag. If you want to remove it just notify the credit bureau, provide them with the necessary proof of your identity and it will be removed. A "flag" with whom? A credit bureau? the reverse way you put the flag on... |
