Is your credit score the Same even if you lie bout your Age??

Because i am 17, and when i got a cellphone and a credit card i told them i was 18, and i got it, but i was wondering is the credit score the same even if you change your age??? i also gave them my social security number

They do not know your age if you do not tell them. For instance if you tell them your birthday is april 18th, 1988 rather then april 18th, 1987 the computer which processes the info will accept it.

seeing that you have no credit (i assume) you will be approved based on your age and credit history.

whne i was 17 i put i was a year older and they gave me a credit card......

so though your birthday does show the computer will not recognize you are lying and i am quite certain you will get your phone.

When you open a credit card account you have to show your drivers license and give your SS number. They both have your real age on it. If you were sold anything on a credit card it must have been in your parents name.
Your credit score has to do with how you pay your bills not your age, and until you've had credit for 6 months or more it probably won't even show up.
You can run your own credit score free once a year.
