How do I contact a security Company for a job? Just got Licensed NYC? |
I did all the required classes and my license should be arriving from Albany in a month or so. The place where I got it was supposed to help me with job placement but I guess they're scumbags. Do I just search security on yellowpages and start calling them up? what do I say? I have no experience, how big of a problem will that be? I feel so angry at the place I got the required classes because they were supposed to help me and charged for it but atleast I got my license on the way. Google security company, private security, security guards NYC and then apply to all the companies that pop up. Classifieds, and the major commercial buildings all have their own security or will tell you who to contact that they contract with for theirs. (Trump Towers, Rockefeller Plaza, etc). Ask for human resources, then tell them you're newly licensed and want to know if they have any openings for security guards. :) Report It Try searching the classifieds or contact stores about Loss Preventions |
