Is this discriminatory? |
The last two digits of my social security number is very high. That means I will be one of the last to be issued a "economic stimulus" check. How soon should I file my claim against the federal government? You must be an entitlement receiving democrat. No discrimination here, don't bother with a claim. Even if you could prove the government intended to discriminate against people with high final digits, that's not a protected class so the decision would only undergo rational basis review. Rational basis review is the easiest standard to meet - as long as the government can prove there's a rational basis for the discrimination, the law or regulation is alright. If the social security number is randomly given to every member. it does not discriminate any person. But if it was intended to be given to you arbitrarily, it discriminates. However, this must be proven by facts that it was indeed given to you to cause you harm/bad result. That is not discriminatory! What claim? That a gift that you ddn't expect is later than you didn't expect it? Get over it. No one chose you and said "Let's make HER last!" when they issued your number God knows how many years ago! The government offers something for free, and you still complain. Only in the United States. Nope, someone has to be first, someone has to be last, welcome to life. Oh come on... give me a break... I'm sure they gave you that high number just because they had some sort of vendetta against you. nice attitude you got there. your getting money for doing absolutely nothing. you going to give some of that money to charity? my money's on vegas! Get over it. I have a high digit as well. Just think of it this way: Our package will be closer to Christmas. |
