Stimulus checks??? |
my brother and i have very similar social security numbers and the last two digits are very similar as well. we both live at the same address and he got his incentive monday and i still havent gotten mine. well the only reason this bothers me is because the notification letter that was sent was placed in the wrong mailbox and the young lady who brought that letter to me has moved like a week ago. now im just worried that the mail carrier has again placed my mail in the wrong box. what can i do to see if it will be delivered properly? Contact the IRS and see what address the check was mailed to. Right now, they are asking that people wait 6 weeks from the date the check was mailed. You, however, can go to the IRS.gov and check and see when and where the check was mailed. If it went to the wrong address or bank account, contact the IRS and ask them to "stop-pay" the check and re-issue it. |
