Someone vandalized my car @ Target and she.....?

Hi, someone "key'' my car, all the right side of it, right @ the Target parking lot, there was a witness and she got caught!! Thankx God. I was leaving... didnt even notice it because my car was dirty and security stopped me and explained to me hwat happened and that they had on hold that person on the security premises.
She admitted that she did "key" my car, she claims I stole her parking spot but I didnt... we were waiting for different cars to come out...
Police came, and I have to wait for the police investigator to call me...
My question is... what should i do? I think after the call from the investigator I have to go to court??
Is court making her pay for the damages???

I dont have her information... the police have it....
I only have the minimun liability insurance. I am pregnant 32 weeks so I tried to reduce costs until the baby gets here.

I would call my insurance agent and then they should be able to get in touch with hers.

I guess she won't be doing that again?

The judge will fine her and make her pay damages if she is convicted. If you get subpoenaed be sure to attend. Don't be surprised if nothing gets done the first time. Happens all the time for a variety of reasons. If the judge dismisses the case you will have to sue in small claims court.
In the meantime get the scratch buffed out and touched up.
