Why is the TSA installing scanners that show what people look like under their clothes?

At 10 airports, the TSA is now installing scanners that show what a person looks like under their clothing. This is their latest airport security tool. Won't this machine encourage some sickos to work for the TSA so that they get to look at people naked? Doesn't this violate the child porn laws when children are walking through it? Will the American Sheeple let them use this obscene device?

It's not following the constitution, but very few people in power care about the constitution anymore. And yes, it is a horrible violation of the rights of children. But who is going to do anything about it?

The article makes it look like the images are more detailed than they really are. I have seen them. It is true that the face is blurred and that the image is immediately deleted.

They have been weighing the use of multiple scanners. Men would man the scanner for men and women would do the same for women.

I understand how you feel and it is unfortunate that this type of technogy has to be employed. But I'm thinking that if you weigh the facts it would be better to be scanned than later die in a plane crash.

It shows outlines of what is under your clothing....just like an xray only more accurate. Don't like then don't fly.
