Shoplifting and court question?

I was caught shoplifting at the university bookstore in seattle. I am 19 and have a clean record. The undercover securities caught me and made me sign a trespassing contact and some police stuff. The police never came but the securities said I would get a court order soon. The same thing happened to my friend on June 2007 and she never got a court order even though the security said seh would. HOw long does it take to get a court order? Does it take more than a year? The bookstore security said it takes a few months.

P.S.

I know what i did was wrong and i have not been stealing since then, i have learned my lesson.

It could easily take 18-24 months, even as long as 36. By the time it comes through it could create a big problem for prospective employment or an application for credit.

it can take some time...just because the polic didnt come means nothing... most campus guards are actual officers... good luck

No, because you are only eligible to receive dependent social security until you are an adult. Being emancipated makes you an adult so you would no longer have that "income".
