Anyone with Social Security Knowledge? Please, help?

I've been collecting benefits from social security since my father passed away when i was 11.
I'm 18 now and i am still able to collect until i'm 19 years old.
i was wondering, if i got married, would the benefits stop? Or would i still be able to collect?

I've heard from some people that once i'm married, they'd cancle my benefits out...
But i've also heard that it shouldn't cancle out...

So now i'm engaged and would love to get married to the person i love but obviously money would help our financial burden... i dont know what i can or cannot do!

Anyone with knowledge to answer this question is MUCH appriciated! Thanks<3

Yes,they will end when you get married.
You can only collect until you are 18 or until the month of your HS graduation. They don't continue till you are 19 unless you are still in HS at that time.

Little One! I will answer your question and than I will share a complication in your upcoming marriage. The Social Security Benefits that you have been receiving from your father will, BY LAW, Terminate when and if you legally married. Now, excuse me for saying this but, is it a good idea to start married life with a "Financial Burden?" or living with or in a financial burden?
