Can you be found by your social security number?

If someone gets ahold of your social security number can they find you? Can you really pay with a credit card via the internet, put in a SSN, and find out everything about that person?

Okay, so if someone's using your social to stalk you, and they find you via a website, that's illegal right? How do those websites exist?

Not specifically, but they can trace your life to eventually find your most recent location, with great odds of actually finding you.
You must be carefull to give out your social security along with other critical information to a site that you may not know. In fact, if you doubt the site's trustworthiness at all, you need to call them, and have them call you back.

When all else fails - just find your item locally. A few hassles of phone calls and driving around is a lot less work than trying to recover your identity and possibly your bank account.

well the thing is where are you getting this ssn? i mean you shoudnt' be having no ones but your own and its felony if you usesomeones elses. so i would suggest what ever you have found don't use it unless you areready to use the jail perman.

The first three digits of your social security number alone tell you where your social security number was issued. Usually, this is where a person was raised.

Its possible to find out ceartain aspects of your life...ceartainly your most recent location of your permanent address......

It is possible they can find out your financial and legal records too.

YES EVERYONE HAS THERE OWN SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER AND YOU CAN BE FOUND BY YOUR SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER
