What do you think about security in the school systems? Would you like to see metal detectors?

Metal detectors for just students or visitors too?

It's like this. People will scream and cry and throw a tantrum over a metal detector, even though if you have nothing to hide, there's no problem.

Then, when something bad happens, they scream and cry and ask why there was no security to prevent something like that.

UGH we have a maglock system thing at our school so you have to hit a button thingy outside the door so our irritable secretary can open it. People know how to get around it anyways and it is so stupid. No metal detectors, or maglock systems

No. I have a metal plate in my head and its very embarassing setting off the metal detectors all the time.

I think all schools should have them mandatory, I know we don't want to see them, but I rather see metal detectors, than seeing my school on the news.

I wouldn't bother with them. Weapons are a problem when they are a problem -- but that isn't really that often.
