How am i supossed to get an id ?

This morning someone broke in my car and stole my wallet. My drivers liscense,social security card,are both gone. the dmv said because it was out of state they could not pull it up and i could not get one with my birth cert.you need two forms of id.so i went to the social security office.and they said the same thing i need my id before they can do anything.so how in the **** am i supposed to get either.cuz i cant get one without the other

how did you get them in the first place? I would suggest doing that again.

btw, why re you carrying around a ss card? no one ever needs to see it, as it alone is not valid proof of anything, and if they need a number, you can memorize it. otherwise you might as will be shouting out :STEAL MY IDENTITY!

Well what about your birth certificate and a work or school ID?
I've used my work badge for things, it has my picture on it.
