CPS placement? |
Can 4 kids be placed in with grandparents that are already caring for 4 kids from another sibling? My husband and I have 4 kids ages 9,8 and a set of twins that are 6 and have been living there for over a year now. My Brother in Law says that his abusive wife's rights are severed from any contact with the children (10,8,6 and 2). How much if any of this can be true as far as a parent's rights being severed (women parent visiting from hell) ; and CPS placement of kids with there grandparents. By the way my Father in Law has cancer and COPD and is 73 living on social security. My Mom in Law has arthritis in her knees and is overweight CPS MAY make efforts to place children with family but no guarantee that they will. Certainly, not if the grandparents don't request it. IF the grandparents request it, then there will be verification of many things, including other persons in the home. It does not sound as if the grandparents can handle more.. but if they have a large large house, it might be considered. I personlly would be skeptical of it happening. |
