I stay in a condominum, I have stayed there eversince it was first developed about 15 years ago? |
My question is, eventhough the condo was not maintained properly, not even painted once till date today, and security was lax, so much so, that one night while taking a walk along the common area, which was not lighted at all, I fell into an uncovered drain, broke my teeth, and went thru an ordeal for 6 months. You should have sued the developer for your personal injuries at the time it happened. If you are still within the statute of limitations and can prove your damages, you might sue now. You handled this all wrong. Why doesn't your condo have a board of directors to handle maintenance such as painting and repairs? You should have sued the Condo. corp. for your injuries. You may still be able to if the Statute of Limitations has not run out in your state. Talk to a lawyer. You could lose your home because of your actions. |
